Stewartville High School Choir Pasta Dinner

Stewartville HS Choir?going to NYC! The Stewartville High School Concert Choir has been invited to sing at the Statue of Liberty and a high school in Harlem March 2010 and the community of Stewartville is hosting a NEWdle York Pasta Dinner on January 11, 2010 at Riverview Greens Golf Course to raise money for the trip.

Our choir has been beating the odds for the past 2 years due to the efforts of some very hard-working, committed students and an enthusiastic choir director, Nick Johnson. In a town with less than 6,000 residents and 450 high school students, Mr. Johnson has grown the choir from 39 students to 157 in just two years. He encourages students to become the best that they can be and to ?not be afraid to take chances.?

Because they ?have become one big family,? choir students told us, ?we don?t want anyone to not be able to go because of issues with money.? Please join us for an evening of music and fun and help send our kids to New York City!
