TGIF @ PAIIR
Is your schedule unpredictable? Are you unable to commit to a weekly PAIIR class right now? Then TGIF is for you! Join PAIIR on Friday mornings for themed activity time with your child, followed by a separate parent discussion. Attend one or all the classes...flexible registration is week by week. Registration opens Thursday morning for class the following day. Registrations are taken until 8 AM on Friday morning, or until the class fills. Call the PAIIR office at 328-4020 or go to www.rochesterce.recware.com to register. We will call you by 8:40 AM if the class has filled and we are not able to accommodate you that week. Check-in at the PAIIR office opens 15 minutes before class time. Parent and child activity time starts at 9:15 AM in the children's classroom, followed by a separate parent discussion. Down Syndrome Network Group Mtg.
The Down Syndrome Network Group of Southeast Minnesota meets quarterly at Calvary Evangelical Free Church, 5500 25th Ave., N.W. Organized by Arc Southeastern Minnesota and the Down Syndrome Association of Minnesota, the group is geared toward families of young children with Down Syndrome. Special Performance by the Rochester Shining Stars. Sponsored by Rochester Parks and Recreation & Community Education, the Stars are the first adaptive cheer team in the state of Minnesota. Guest Speakers: Sisters, Julie and Amanda, will share some of their life experiences growing up with a sister who has Down Syndrome. A light dinner will be provided.
