Young Authors/Young Artists Conference - Registgration Due Today!

Young Authors, Young Artists Conference @ RCTC, Heintz Center, 1926 College View Road, S.E. Friday, April 30 (registrations due); Wednesday, May 19 or Thursday, May 20, 8:30 a.m. to 1:50 p.m. (conference). 281-6670. www.rctc.edu

Registrations are being accepted through this Friday. An adult must chaperone each student (up to 10 students per adult). The conference runs two days. Go online to see which of the days your student's school is scheduled to attend, a conference registration form, and a conference brochure. Cost is $44 per student and $8 per adult chaperone.

RPU's Annual Arbor Day Celebration

Come down to Central Park on Friday, April 30th from 11am-1pm to celebrate the benefits of trees in our community. The event is free to the public. www.rneighbors.org

Middle School Prep Program - Registration Due!

Offered through Community Education, the program is designed to help ease the transition between elementary and middle school. Cost is $70 (1-week program) or $120 (2-week program). Scholarships available based on financial need. Registration forms available online. Register through Community Education by today. Registrations accepted after Friday, with an added fee of $5, as space allows.
