Days of Yesteryear @ History Center. Park at Autumn Ridge Church or Salem Covenant Church and take free shuttle to History Center. Hands-on activities like rope making, corn grinding, butter churning. Live music, a petting zoo, pony rides, carnival games and recess at the one-room schoolhouse. Horse- and tractor-drawn wagon rides to and from activities. Held rain or shine. Go online for complete schedule of activities. Admission is $7 at the gate. Youth 16 and younger are free. Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 14 and 15, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Kids Club @ Prairie Walls Climbing Gym
Kids Club is a chance for young climbers to experience the excitement of rock climbing in the supervised environment at Prairie Walls. Kids love to climb, and as they learn the skills of safe rock climbing they will also be gaining self confidence, learning trust, improving coordination and physical fitness. Prairie Walls staff will take care of all the safety checks and belaying while the kids climb. For kids that have taken our Get Vertical or Sharp End classes, the staff will provide supervision while the kids practice the belaying and safety skills they have learned. Our staff to climber ratio is approximately 1 to 8. Fridays, 5:00 to 7:00. $18.00, All of the required rental equipment is included. Kids Club punch cards: 10 pass $140.00; 5 pass $80.00.
