AKC Obedience & Rally Trials @ RCTC

The all breed conformation shows, obedience trials, & rally trials will be held on Sept 18 & 19 at the Regional sports center at RCTC. Judging will begin at 8 AM and finish about 3 pm. Admission will be charged and children must be accompanied by an adult.

Quarry Hill Fall Festival

The Quarry Hill Fall Festival is Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. During the two-day event, kids of all ages will enjoy indoor and outdoor nature-themed activities including face painting, rock climbing, canoeing, pumpkin coloring, cookie decorating, cave tours, live music and storytelling. Great opportunity to check out the new pond. Twice as big as it used to be. Held rain or shine. No admission. Activity and food tickets, $1 each or 30 for $20, available to purchase onsite. Ride your bike to and from the event, park it in the staffed Bike Corral, and receive one free activity ticket per bike.

Global Mala Yoga for Peace

Global Mala Yoga for Peace will be held Sunday, Sept. 19, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Rochester Art Center. Sponsored by various local yoga studios and instructors, the event is open to individuals with all levels of experience, tradition, and age. A variety of children’s activities (mala beading, mandala coloring, and kid-friendly yoga) will also take place.
