Many of our readers are familiar with Playdate at the Park - an informal playgroup that meets weekly, April - August, at various Rochester parks. Sandy Burke, "the park lady" created the park playgroup and has maintained the summer schedule (with help from others) for five years. Sandy will not be able to coordinate Playdate at the Park this Spring/Summer and is looking for one (preferably two) people to pass the "park lady (or man)" crown on to. Sandy assures us that this commitment does not require a lot of time - she has already set up the 2007 park schedule. The new coordinator(s) would need to be available to answer questions, via email, and could also attend the playdates if they so choose. If you are interested in helping keep Playdate at the Park a Rochester tradition, email smburke22@charter.net to find out how you can help coordinate Playdate at the Park this Spring/Summer.
