DID YOU KNOW?
The RT (Reece Trahan) Autism Awareness Foundation is an
organization devoted to making people aware of Autism and
the effects it has on children and their families. The
diagnosis of Autism is an emotional one for families, and
the RT Autism Awareness Foundation wants people to know
that they are not alone. It is the organization's desire
and dedication to promote events for Autism Awareness so
that present and future children along with their families
who face this battle will have strong support.

The Foundation, along with the Olmsted County Sheriff's
Office have recently developed Project Lifesaver. Project
Lifesaver, using the most reliable technology available
along with specially trained search and rescue teams, is
able to quickly locate and return wandering adults and
children to their families and caregivers. Project
Lifesaver applications are now available. For more
information visit ROCHESTERfamilies.com’s Special Needs
page, www.rochesterfamilies.com/special_needs.html.

Lots of new entries to the Summer Camps webpage this week.
Check out all the details regarding: Camp AuSm (accepts
kids as young as six), Adaptive Rec’s Choir (for kids 13
and older with developmental disabilities - part of the
Rochester community for 20 years!) and Stanley Jones’

If your organization is hosting a Summer Camp for area
youth email the details (text version only, no attachments
