A new local children’s museum is in the works! Yes, you
read right - the Children's Museum of Rochester (CMR) was
founded by a group of area parents whose goal is to create
and maintain a children's museum in Rochester. Incorporated
as a nonprofit in February 2007, CMR has a growing and
energized board of directors that is committed to the
project's success. Its mission is to provide children the
opportunity to discover the world around them in a
hands-on, personal way. To support this objective, CMR will
begin hosting an exciting series of traveling, educational,
and interactive exhibits in Rochester starting in the
spring of 2008. For more information visit the Parents
Groups/Classes webpage,
