VOLUNTEERS NEEDED 
• The Miracle League Spring Season starts Monday and runs 
for five weeks. They are in need of more buddy players. 
(Run bases with player, help bat, help in the outfield). 
Monday nights adults play from 6-7 and 7-8. Tuesday nights 
youth play from 6-6:45. All games are held at the Miracle 
Field at the Roy Watson Youth Sports Complex on Essex  
Parkway NW. For more info contact Vicki Allen 287-7100. 
 
• If you are a parent of a special education student, 
consider serving on Rochester Public Schools Special 
Education Advisory Council (SEAC). The council is looking 
for parents who have a primary need in the following areas: 
Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH), Deaf-Blind (D-B), Emotional 
or Behavioral Disorders (EBD), Physically Impaired (PI), 
Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Visually Impaired (VI). This 
is a great opportunity to increase awareness of special 
education while providing valuable input.  For more 
information about becoming a member of the council, contact 
the Student Support Services Office at (507) 328-4310.
